When we hear the word elite, we think of someone in a class all by themselves. They’re the best of the best. Crème de la crème, and A-lister.

Strive to become one of the elite your ability to achieve is limitless. Some of you probably groaned at that word limitless, because you have a hard time thinking of yourself that way.

Society has programmed most to think in the terms of mediocrity. Be careful don’t push yourself you might get hurt. You shouldn’t try to stand out just be like everyone else.

Too many have tried to do that and failed I probably won’t be able to do it either. That’s too hard it’s just to complicated.

Strive To Become One Of The Elite – Your Ability To Achieve Is Limitless

“If you can’t accept losing, you can’t win.” – Vince Lombardi

Trying to climb a mountain is a slow steady process. But it is a process nonetheless and if you keep at the process eventually, you’ll reach the mountain top. Man looked at Mount Everest and said to himself, “I can conquer that.”

There is just something within us if nurtured we want to achieve the impossible, but the majority of us will suppress it. Thus, they stay in their comfortable little place.

And will only venture out of their cave for some fast-food if they get hungry. High calorie dense greasy fat laden food and a beer is their highlight of the day.

Afraid to move forward because they keep looking back. Reliving a past failure over and over again. Suddenly awakened by the sound of cruel laughter. They have nightmares about it.

“If you can’t accept losing, you can’t win.” – Vince Lombardi

“Men’s best successes come after their disappointments.” – Henry Ward Beecher

The most elite champions will tell you they didn’t start out the best. They’ll tell you they didn’t think they were gifted or that there was something special about them.

But what they will tell you is that at a certain point in their lives they became driven. They were determined to no longer be mediocre.

Due to I believe the unrest of the human spirit. You were born to be more than what you are. You haven’t even begun to test the limits of your abilities. Because if you did, you’d find out there is none.

In order to get to where you want to be you will have to suffer. You will have to be tried and tested. Yet very few want to be challenged. You gain knowledge through suffering.

You’ll find out who you are through suffering. Suffer through whatever it is you have to go through that is how you will become great.

Men’s best successes come after their disappointments.” – Henry Ward Beecher

“All progress takes place outside the comfort zone.” – Michael John Bobak

Your potential to achieve is endless most are just not tapping into it. You have to be willing to live in a place of discomfort. Don’t just live on the surface go deeper.

After all people will judge you no matter what you do. Care about what they think and you will lose. Just don’t care and stay focused on the task at hand.

Be extra-ordinary among ordinary people. Become so good at what you do that they cannot ignore you. You cannot ever become satisfied where you are at, because there is always another level to strive for.

Fight for where you are trying to go. Look inward not always outward for what you need.

You may have to do things you just don’t want to do. But if you are willing to do what others won’t you will live a life that others can’t.

Important to realize no matter what you’ve been told success is hard it’s not easy. With this in mind know that people don’t want to hear the truth, because truth hurts, but you grow from the pain.

"All progress takes place outside the comfort zone." - Michael John Bobak

“Character cannot be developed in ease and quiet. Only through experience of trial and suffering can the soul be strengthened, ambition inspired, and success achieved.” – Helen Keller

Above all don’t be afraid of the unknown it’s in the unknown where everything about yourself becomes known. Like the saying goes, “You don’t have to see the whole staircase just take the first step.”

You are a remarkable person whether you believe that or not. You are capable of more than you ever imagined. Free yourself of negative thinking.

Stop listening to people giving you advice out of their own fear. They are afraid of fear, but if you will look fear in the face you can overcome fear.

Force yourself to push through the tough times, but don’t forget how tough you are. The body may have limitations, but the mind does not.

Moreover, work to develop you. Become a person who will major in the lifelong pursuit of self-improvement.

Strive To Become One Of The Elite

“If you really want to do something, you’ll find a way. If you don’t, you’ll find an excuse.” – Jim Rohn

You are affected by what you know and what you don’t know. Study your craft. Strive to know more. Take in a daily meal of knowledge.

You have heard it said that, “Knowledge is power.” But I have also heard it said this way, “Knowledge is potential power.” Because if you don’t use what you know what good is it?

Know that:

  >Clarity is key

  >Failure is just testing

  >Mistakes are okay

  >It’s okay to take risks

  >There is no gain without pain

  >Fear is a learned behavior

Henceforth go for what you know. You were meant to shine. Someone around you needs your light.

You were not giving life to waste it, and you’re wasting it if you’re not making someone else’s life better.

Your Ability To Achieve Is Limitless

“The key to success is to keep growing in all areas of life – mental, emotional, spiritual, as well as physical.” – Julius Erving

Understand that how you think and how you feel will influence the atmosphere and the people around you. Be conscious of your thoughts because they affect the body.

What are you showing outwardly to the world?

  • Happiness
  • Anger
  • Fear
  • Confidence
  • Anxiety
  • Cowardice
  • Indifference
  • Sadness
  • Love
  • Contempt
  • Aggressiveness
  • Humility
  • Optimism
  • Trust

To live a life of excellence, think thoughts of excellence. Your energy flows toward your focus. The elite are aware of their thoughts they know how to focus.

Our thoughts and imagination are the only real limits to our possibilities. Orison Swett Marden

Acquire the habits of successful people. Don’t let society program you to be just one of the herd. Stand out!

Believe in you. Know that you can do stuff you haven’t even thought up yet. You were born with abilities beyond your imagination.

  1. I totally agree with the idea that in order to realize their dreams, people have to change something for them. Firstly to their thoughts, and then to their daily actions. The information here is good to read from time to time, even if you know it, for the simple reason that sometimes you forget it exists.

  2. How immense this is for me right now and I’m only thankful to you for sharing this one right up here. Developing oneself to achieving the possible best is not an easy task but having motivations like this almost everytime would only serve as a boost everytime to keep going at things and aiming for the top. Just the perfect boost for me to take another step towards achieving the best for myself. Thanks

    1. Hi Roland

You’re welcome. I happy to be of help. I’m glad my post reached  you at a time when you needed it. One day you will look back an realize you have become one of the elite.

      Much Success

  3. I believe that everyone is made to live to the fullness of their potentials but the irony is that very little set of people truly achieve this because of the amount of information and actions they take. The place of motivation in life is not easily expanded in discourse. Becoming an elite in one’s area o work requires to go beyond just the ordinary and do things out of the blue. By living outside of the comfort zone, the rate at which the possibilities to achieve success would be only immense. thanks

    1. Hi Shelly

You’re welcome. Yes we will never reach our potential through discourse. I think it was Yoda who said, Don’t Talk Do.” To reach the elite level you must continue to stretch yourself. To go beyond what you’ve done before. Thanks for commenting.

  4. The whole of life is a challenge, and we need to take our courage in both hands, and go out do our best, and we will be over comers., as long as we keep on trying.

A great Scottish general, was in hiding after having lost several battles,he watched a spider, seven times it battled to build it’s web,and failed, each time it was broken, but it didn’t give up, on the next attempt it succeeded,he took heart, gathered his army and at the next battle achieved victory.

The great Sir Winston Churchill, was asked to give a speech, at his old school, the hall was packed, the audience on tenterhooks, to hear what he would say.   He got up and said “Never give up ! never give up,! never, never, never,NEVER GIVE UP!! ” and he sat down again. He had an indomitable will, which brought Britain through a great world war,to victory.

Sir Edmund Hilary, one of the first conquerors of mount Everest, will tell you, that when your body wants to give up,when your lungs, can’t get enough oxygen to breathe,it is your mind, and your will, that will keep you going, just another step, keeping on going forward, until you conquer the cold, and the altitude, and reach the top of that highest mountain in the world.

  5. Hi Eric

Thanks a lot for that inspiring article.

I have recently quit my corporate job to do a startup in the internet business world (I’ve just began a blog recently) and every close person (except a few like my wife) are so worried that I’ll fail and go down with my family. And surely, when I look at the bills and huge debts and huge this and huge that, I feel rather overwhelmed.

But there’s something that’s keeping me going. Somehow I feel that I’m in the right path and they want me to just keep them company in a space where I do not belong.

I’ll not give up. I’ll not hide in a cave to only dash out for fast foods when hunger becomes unbearable.!

    1. Hi Boniface

It seems to me like you have counted up the cost to make the move you have made. It seems to me that you are convinced that you will succeed. And if you truly believe that I believe you will. There will always be those who will not believe in your dream. Just remember it’s your dream not their’s. Thanks for sharing.

      Much Success

  6. I have read some of the opinions in your article. It’s said that born of misery and died of happiness. That’s a famous sentence in China. To be better we have to go outside the comfort zone, move from one circle to another. No pains, no gains. Successful people always know what they want and try their best to achieve it.

I used to be a bit lazy. I hope that I can avoid procrastination, and finish my plans on time. Even if I can’t be an elite, to be a better myself.

  7. I really love the quotes in this post. If you can’t accept losing you can’t win. True! It feels and is easy to remain in comfortable situations but we do need to get outside our comfort zone to make progress in anything we set out to do. My favourite is the one saying our imaginations are our limitations. Thanks for this post, it’s very motivating.

  8. It is said that when you fail and get up and keep going forward, you are on the road to success.  Gurus tell us that failure is a necessary step along the way.  It’s just a lesson that we’ve learned.  Now we know that is one thing not to do.

I believe you when you say our ability to achieve is limitless.  I think we need to embrace that idea, and never give up looking for new ways that we can reach our goals.  If one way doesn’t work, there is another that will.  If we can just scale up our self-belief, we can find our path.

Keep writing posts that encourage your followers.  We all need to be uplifted and to hear that what we might feel is impossible is indeed possible.

    1. Hi Fran

Indeed if we just remember that when we fail that it is not the end. It is a necessary step on the road to success. Yep there’s more than one way to skin a cat as they say. Keep improving and looking for ways to win. Thanks for sharing.

      All the best

  9. Hi Eric, I’m loving your website. The articles are very well written and the subjects fascinating. Your article about fear was very good, hypnotherapy can help with deep rooted fear by distracting the brain and breaking the neural pathways but that’s another subject.

I’m impressed with how many articles posts you’ve published and the high standard you’ve achieved. Keep up the good work you’ll be a great encouragement to many people and the comments already on the site back this up.

I couldn’t see an affiliate disclosure page on your site to say you will earn money from affiliate links, this will definitely be required.

I’ll be bookmarking the site to read through some more of your posts., what else do you have up your sleeve?

    Kind regards Sharon

    1. HI Sharon

Thank you for your glowing comments. Glad you brought that up I’ve been meaning to do it and havent gotten around to it thanks for the reminder. I’m glad you enjoy my site and I appreciate you bookmarking my site. Thanks for sharing.

  10. Hi Eric – Enjoyed reading your post. So many good take-away points to ponder. I agree that too many people have settled for an average life even though they have a deep desire in their hearts for more. Most people want the prize but are not willing to go through the process of suffering, failing, and feeling discomfort. I agree with your comment about society programming us to not be different and just fit in with everyone else, but that mindset is a dream killer.  I love Jim Rohn’s quote “if you really want to do something you’ll find a way, if you don’t, you’ll find an excuse”. Awesome! Thanks for the post.

    1. Hi Jeff

You’re welcome. I’m glad you enjoyed the post. Yes if we are ever going to achieve anything worthwhile in this life we are going to have to go through some stuff. It is in the failing and the sufferring where you find yourself and greatness can be achieved. You develop a warrior’s mentality. I appreciate your comment thank you.

      Much Success
